Meet the Staff
Phil received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois Medical School in 1979 and became a registered pharmacist. He has provided pharmacy services in Carol Stream since 1986 with Family Pharmacy. Phil is certified to administer any type of vaccination including flu, pneumonia, Shingrix and many more.
Nancy Thomas serves as Community Liaison to the pharmacy and has worked in the health care industry for more than 20 years. She has a Bachelor of Administration degree in Finance from Loyola University, a Master of International Management from the American Graduate School of International Management in Glendale, Arizona and is a pharmacy technician.
Natasha received a PharmD from University of Illinois at Chicago, Rockford campus in 2016. She has worked at Family Pharmacy since 2006, originally as a high school and college student. She then pursued her interest in pharmacy and completed the Doctorate of Pharmacy program at UIC. Natasha is certified to administer any type of vaccination. She is fluent in Hindi and Gujarati.
Susan received a PharmD from University of Illinois at Chicago, Rockford campus in 2016. She has worked for a national retail pharmacy since 2014 prior to joining our team. Susan is certified to administer any type of vaccination and is fluent in Vietnamese.
Mandy has been a pharmacy technician at Family Pharmacy since 2022. She has worked for a national retail pharmacy since 2012 prior to joining our team. When Mandy is not at work, she is a full time mom of three.
Tom has been with Family Pharmacy since 2023. He is our expert on durable medical equipment. If you have any questions on medical supplies and equipment, Tom is your guy.
Jashan is a certified pharmacy technician and has been with Family Pharmacy since 2017. He works behind the counter and also helps customers with over-the-counter purchases. Jashan is currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Chicago. In his free time, Jashan likes to play basketball and garden.
Dan is a certified pharmacy technician and has been with Family Pharmacy since 2022. Dan is not only a technician, but he also does deliveries for the pharmacy. During his free time he plays ice hockey.
Kennedy is a certified pharmacy technician and has been with Family Pharmacy since 2022. She is working at the pharmacy while she pursue her path on becoming a PA. Kennedy is certified in giving immunizations, and helps with all our immunization clinics.
Suzanna is a pharmacy technician and has been with Family Pharmacy since 2021. She is working at the pharmacy while she goes to college full time. Suzanna loves to read and collect books. She is also fluent in Polish.
Laura has been with Family Pharmacy since 2009. She received certification from the College of DuPage pharmacy technician program. Laura specializes in our compliance packaging system, Dispill.
Lexi is a certified pharmacy technician and has been with Family Pharmacy since 2020. She started working at the pharmacy while she was in highschool, and currently helps out when she’s home for breaks while in college. She is currently pursuing her engineering degree at Prudue University.
Melvin has been with Family Pharmacy since 2006. He is a “Jack of all Trades” and keeps the pharmacy looking good.
