Our Story

Family HealthMart Pharmacy has been located at the corner of Army Trail Road and County Farm Road on the Southwest corner since 1986. It is a family owned business dedicated to serving the customer. A ‘live’ person always answers the telephone during business hours so patients, doctors and nurses can actually speak to a person and not have to talk to a machine or press buttons.

The owner, Phil is a Registered Pharmacist specializing in community pharmacy and received his degree from the University of Illinois, School of Pharmacy. He is a respected healthcare provider and business owner providing professional clinical advice. His clinical knowledge allows him to consult on issues related to infants, children, adolescence, adults and seniors.  Over the years, he has continued to reinvent his pharmacy and surpass the chain drugstores by not only providing excellent clinical advice but through impeccable, honest customer service.  In 2007, Phil expanded his business to be the premier home medical provider of the western suburbs.  Phil is a frequent speaker at various venues including Roosevelt University, Village of Carol Stream, Senior living communities and is a certified Continuing Education speaker with Continuing Education Institute of Illinois (CEII).  Phil is an expert on Medicare Part D, the federal government’s prescription drug program.
